IDOS
stands for the International Dutch Oven Society which hails out of none other than Logan, UT. who knew? i am mulling a dutch oven purchase for camping in yosemite and wanted to be an educated buyer, so i turned to the good ol' world wide web. who knew there is an entire society, international mind you, for dutch oven enthusiasts to share tips, recipes, and stories? how cozy. i almost want to join but fear they'll know i don't yet own a dutch oven. something to aspire to. what did we do before the internet?

Logan is the place. They always have cook offs. They are the master chefs. That's where we got our start when you were just a wee one. They have great deals on them in most of the stores in Logan, Smithfield, etc.
nice. i love an open fire. i've always wanted to toast bread on an open fire. that is not too exciting to some but can you imagine dipping it in a dinged cocoa pail? i am gaga over the thought of a cocoa pail.
